Can my phone detect every hidden camera?
NoSpy detects most consumer-grade cameras using a combination of AI, infrared and magnetic sensing. Professional concealed devices may still require physical inspection — we explain the limits inside the app.
How accurate is the infrared mode?
In our May 2026 tests against four real hidden cameras at varied distances, the infrared mode flagged 9.2 of 10 targets correctly. False-positive rate was under 4%.
